Details

At 438 PM CDT/338 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm near Tryon, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Tryon.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 92 between mile markers 195 and 197, and between mile
markers 200 and 205.
Highway 97 between mile markers 32 and 43.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT/800 PM
MDT/ for north central and west central Nebraska.
