The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Southeastern Callaway County in central Missouri…
Northeastern Osage County in central Missouri…
Northwestern Gasconade County in east central Missouri…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 545 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Chamois, or 12 miles north of Linn, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Mokane, Steedman, Chamois, Portland, Morrison, Gasconade and Bay.

Instructions

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
