At 558 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Mesquite, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
West El Paso, Central El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Mission Valley,
Chaparral, Santa Teresa, Anthony, Vado, Sunland Park, Canutillo,
Afton, Anthony Gap, Berino, Vinton, Westway, Fort Bliss, Chamberino,
La Union, San Miguel, and Mesquite.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 153 and 164.
Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 1 and 26.

Instructions

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
