The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Northeastern El Paso County in western Texas…

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 347 PM MDT, Stationary thunderstorms continue to produce
torrential rainfall over Hueco Tanks, where a gauge reports 1.43
inches has fallen in just under an hour. Significant arroyo
flooding is expected. Radar estimates up to 1 inches of rain has
fallen in the area.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Hueco Tanks, Hueco Mountain Estates, Butterfield and Homestead
Meadows.

Flooding is likely to cut off the main access road to Hueco Tanks
park.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
