At 817 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles east of Elsmere, or 15 miles north of Brewster, moving east at
35 mph.
HAZARD…Penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include…
Rose, Raven, Duff, Pony Lake, Sybrant, Jones Lake, Twin Lakes State
Wildlife Management Area, and Johnsons Corner.
This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 147 and 170.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
