* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, and northeast Missouri,
including the following areas, in central Missouri, Cooper, Howard,
Pettis and Saline. In north central Missouri, Chariton, Linn MO,
Macon, Putnam, Randolph and Sullivan. In northeast Missouri, Adair
and Schuyler.
* WHEN…From this evening through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Widespread rainfall amounts between 1 to 2 inches is expected
Wednesday evening and into the overnight hours. Localized
rainfall amounts exceeding 3 inches is possible, which could lead
to flash flooding across the area.
