Details

At 1150 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles south of Admire, moving east at 40 mph. A second strong
thunderstorms was located 8 miles northeast of Emporia, moving east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
around objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects and
vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Osage City, Americus, Reading, Allen, Admire, Bushong, and Melvern
Lake.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 134 and 148.
