Details

At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 7 miles northeast of Gillham to 17 miles
northwest of Broken Bow, or extending from 12 miles west of Umpire to
37 miles north of Clarksville, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Broken Bow, Gillham, Wright City, Millerton, Hochatown, Eagletown,
West Line, Oak Hill, Holly Creek, Glover and Golden.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If on or near Broken Lake near the dam, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10
miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are
close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do
not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
