Eastern Custer County in southwestern South Dakota…
South Central Pennington County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 500 PM MDT.

* At 404 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over State Game
Lodge, or 11 miles east of Custer, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include…
Hermosa, Keystone, Fairburn, Hayward, State Game Lodge, Black Hills
Playhouse, Center Lake, northeastern Custer State Park, Legion Lake
and Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.
