* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Corson County in north central South Dakota…

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 948 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles west of
Shambo Ranch, or 49 miles northwest of Lantry, moving southeast at
20 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Southwestern Corson County.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
