Details
At 122 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 18 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids to 8
miles southwest of Amherst, or extending from 18 miles south of
Wisconsin Rapids to 14 miles southeast of Stevens Point, moving east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
The strong thunderstorm will be near…
Plainfield around 125 AM CDT.
Hartman Creek State Park around 145 AM CDT.
Chain O’ Lakes-King around 150 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Keene,
Bancroft, Coddington, Almond, Blaine, Emmons Creek Barrens, Hancock,
Heffron, Wild Rose and Rural.
