* WHAT…Moderate to high risk of strong rip currents. Elevated
tides during times of high tide..
* WHERE…Gulf-facing beaches, including the Matagorda
Peninsula, Brazoria County beaches, Galveston Island and the
Bolivar Peninsula.
* WHEN…Through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS…Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water. Elevated tides could result in
minor coastal flooding and isolated overwash in some spots
during high tide.
Instructions
Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
