* WHAT…For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values between 100 to 110 expected. For the Extreme
Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values
between 100 to 110 possible.

* WHERE…Portions of north central, northwest, and west central
Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and
northeast Missouri.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Sunday.
For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Sunday night through Monday
evening.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Little relief is expected Sunday night with
low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
