The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Northwestern Cooke County in north central Texas…
Montague County in north central Texas…

* Until 500 AM CDT.

* At 154 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain moving back into Montague and northwest Cooke Counties.
Radar estimates between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the
past few hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is likely with this
next round of heavy rain.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Bowie, Nocona, Muenster, St. Jo, Lake Nocona, Lake Muenster,
Sunset, Lake Amon G Carter, Hubert H Moss Lake, Nocona Hills,
Montague, Bonita, Mallard, Capps Corner, Forestburg, Belcherville,
Bulcher, Fruitland, Illinois Bend and Spanish Fort.
