The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Western Falls County in central Texas…

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 1000 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain along and west of US-77, including the Cego, Lott, and
Rosebud areas. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, and the
expected forecast rainfall rate is up to 3 to 5 inches in 1 hour.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Rosebud, Lott, Golinda, Chilton, Wilson, Travis, Tomlinson Hill,
Durango, Westphalia, Cedar Springs, Cego, Mooreville, Barclay,
Satin, Pleasant Grove, Terrys Chapel, Belfalls, Wilderville and
Highbank.

Instructions

Move to higher ground now if you are in a flood prone or low-lying
area.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
