The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Central Polk County in southeastern Texas…

* Until 1045 AM CDT.

* At 843 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 12 inches of rain
have fallen over the last 24 hours. The expected rainfall rate is 2
to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Livingston, Corrigan, Goodrich, Seven Oaks, West Livingston, Lake
Livingston State Park, Leggett and Moscow.
