The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Scott County in east central Iowa…
Central Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois…

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 718 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. While the rain will not last
long, the impressive rates will likely cause flooding. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, East Moline, Silvis,
Eldridge, Milan, Le Claire, Coal Valley, Hampton, Port Byron,
Buffalo, Rapids City, Riverdale, Carbon Cliff, Panorama Park, Rock
Island Arsenal, Fruitland and Davenport Municipal Airport.
