Details

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.

* WHERE…Adair County in southwestern Iowa…

* WHEN…Until 330 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 326 PM CDT, Emergency management reported numerous closed
roads in the warned area, with water nearing Highway 25 south of
Greenfield. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area through the overnight hours. Impacted streams include
the Middle River.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Greenfield, Stuart, Adair, Fontanelle, Orient, Bridgewater,
Greenfield Municipal Airport and Nodaway Park.
– This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 73 and 96.
