…The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio TX has issued
a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Medina River At Hwy 281 affecting Bexar County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Medina River at Hwy 281.

* WHEN…From this evening to early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding reaches the Farm to
Market 1937 bridge floor.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 6.7 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 21.6 feet late tonight. It
will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
20.9 feet on 05/24/2015.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
