…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to
flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 24.7 feet Thursday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Friday evening.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
