…The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Flood Warning
for the following rivers in Kansas…

Buffalo Creek near Jamestown affecting Cloud County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Buffalo Creek near Jamestown.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding begins along the creek as
the south bank overflows. At 16.9 feet, Farm field along the north
bank of the Buffalo Creek floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:24 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 3.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.7 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
