Warning for the following rivers in Texas…
Sister Grove Creek Near Blue Ridge affecting Collin County.
For the Sister Grove Creek…including Blue Ridge…Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Sister Grove Creek near Blue Ridge.
* WHEN…Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding along the creek
is expected. Rural roads, along with farm and ranch land near the
creek, will begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 24.3 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage this evening.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
Instructions
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
