issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…
Missouri…

Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Andrew, Buchanan and Doniphan
Counties.

This product along with additional weather and stream information is
available at www.weather.gov/kc/.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at St Joseph.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening to late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream
from St. Joseph occurs. At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri
River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri.
At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late tomorrow
evening to 20.7 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below
flood stage early Sunday morning to 6.7 feet Sunday, October 18.
It will rise to 6.9 feet Tuesday, October 20. It will then fall
again and remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
