Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska…Kansas…

Little Blue River Near Deweese affecting Nuckolls and Clay
Counties.

Republican River Near Hardy affecting Republic, Nuckolls and Jewell
Counties.

Republican River Near Riverton affecting Franklin County.

Republican River At Guide Rock affecting Nuckolls and Webster
Counties.

Solomon River At Beloit affecting Mitchell County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Republican River near Riverton.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 9.0 feet, Lowland flooding occurs. At a river stage of
9.5 feet, water flows over a county road located 300 feet from the
right bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0 feet
Thursday morning. It is currently forecast to fall below flood
stage Thursday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
