* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Northern Jim Wells County in south central Texas…
Northwestern Kleberg County in south central Texas…
Northwestern Nueces County in south central Texas…
Southwestern San Patricio County in south central Texas…

* WHEN…Until 130 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1130 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Alice, Orange Grove, Midway, Alfred, Alfred-South La Paloma,
Tecalote, Westdale, Alice Acres, Ben Bolt, Sandia and Lake Alice.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
