issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…
Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.
* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.
* WHEN…From Wednesday evening to late Friday night.
* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Low-lying cropland floods. At 28.0 feet,
Rural roads are under water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 6.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 29.4 feet Thursday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Instructions
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
