…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Cedar River near Conesville affecting Muscatine and Louisa
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cedar River near Conesville.

* WHEN…From Saturday afternoon to late Saturday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Saturday afternoon to a crest of 14.5 feet Sunday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
