…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

.Recent bouts of heavy rainfall and run-off will produce flooding on
portions of the Iowa River.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN…From Sunday afternoon to late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 11.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact agricultural
land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.6 feet and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall back below
flood stage early Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
