…The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

East Nishnabotna River At Red Oak affecting Montgomery County.

The next statement will be issued this afternoon at 100 PM CDT.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…East Nishnabotna River at Red Oak.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 27.0 feet, 200th Street, also known as H34, begins to
flood east of the airport.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 26.7 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 26.3
feet on 06/07/1917.
