…The National Weather Service in Tulsa OK has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma…

Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Neosho River near Commerce.

* WHEN…From Friday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, low lying areas around Miami become cut
off from easy access. Riverview Park experiences moderate
flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be
threatened.
At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs. State Highway
125 near the fairgrounds will be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 19.6
feet early Sunday morning. The river is then expected to
remain above 18 feet through Monday. This forecast is based
on forecast rainfall, and interests along the river should
closely monitor updates to this river forecast.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
