* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Southeastern Potter County in the panhandle of Texas…
Central Randall County in the panhandle of Texas…

* WHEN…Until 245 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect
many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 652 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park and Timbercreek
Canyon.
