…The National Weather Service in Dodge City KS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…

South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt affecting Pratt County.

For the SF Ninnescah River…including Pratt…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt.

* WHEN…From this morning to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 11.0 feet, Flood waters cover numerous county roads
from the vicinity of Pratt to the Pratt and Kingman county line.
Expect road closures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 5.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this morning to a crest of 10.9 feet this afternoon. It will
then fall below flood stage late tonight.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.9 feet on 08/03/1996.
