…The National Weather Service in Des Moines IA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

South Skunk River near Ames W Riverside Rd affecting Story County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…The South Skunk River near Ames W Riverside Rd, or from
Keigley Branch near 170th Street to Ioway Creek.

* WHEN…From early this morning to late tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 14.1 feet, Water affects residences along Freel Dr
south of Lincoln Way.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
– Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
