…The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

South Skunk River near Ames US 30 affecting Story and Polk
Counties.

South Skunk River near Ames W Riverside Rd affecting Story County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…South Skunk River near Ames W Riverside Rd, or from Keigley
Branch near 170th Street to Ioway Creek.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 13.9 feet, Water affects Westech Engineering located
at 600 Arrasmith Trl.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 13.4 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
– Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
