Details

* WHAT…Temperatures up to 95 in the mountains and up to 115 along
the Rio Grande expected.

* WHERE…Central Brewster and Lower Brewster Counties, and Chisos
Basin.

* WHEN…From 1 PM to 9 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. The elderly,
very young, sick, and people with heart conditions are most at risk
in extreme heat.

Instructions

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Look before you lock! Do not leave young children and pets in
unattended vehicles for even a moment. Car interiors will very
quickly reach lethal temperatures.
