* WHAT…For today, temperatures up to 106 expected. For Thursday’s
Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 107 expected.

* WHERE…Childress, Cottle, Dickens, King, Motley, and Hall
Counties.

* WHEN…For Wednesday’s Heat Advisory, from 1 PM until 9 PM CDT
this evening. For Thursday’s Heat Advisory, from 1 PM to 9 PM CDT
Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
