* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
West central Cheyenne County in the Panhandle of Nebraska…
Northeastern Kimball County in the Panhandle of Nebraska…
Southeastern Banner County in the Panhandle of Nebraska…

* Until 800 PM MDT.

* At 721 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
Dix, or 11 miles northeast of Kimball, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
west central Cheyenne, northeastern Kimball and southeastern Banner
Counties.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
