* Until 200 PM CDT.
* At 1257 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Leeton to near Deepwater to near El Dorado
Springs, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Public. These storms have a history of producing wind
gusts of 50 to 60 mph and quarter sized hail.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Osceola around 110 PM CDT.
Warsaw, Lincoln, and Weaubleau around 130 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Pomme
de Terre Lake, Truman Lake, Truman State Park, Pomme De Terre State
Park, Pittsburg, Polk, Preston, Cross Timbers, Collins, and
Flemington.
Instructions
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
If on or near Truman and Pomme de Terre Lakes, get away from the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can
strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to
safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
