* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Hand County in central South Dakota…
Northeastern Buffalo County in central South Dakota…

* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 315 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gann Valley,
or 23 miles north of Kimball, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. At 314 PM, golf ball sized hail was
reported 11 miles northeast of Gann Valley.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Danforth.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
