The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Burleigh County in south central North Dakota…

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 449 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
7 miles north of Regan to 13 miles north of Mandan, or along a line
from 32 miles north of Bismarck to 13 miles north of Mandan, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Menoken, Wing, Sterling, Regan, Mckenzie, Baldwin, Arena, New Johns
Lake and Double Ditch Indian Village.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds and large hail.
