* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Itasca County in north central Minnesota…
North central Cass County in north central Minnesota…
Southwestern Koochiching County in north central Minnesota…

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 546 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast
of Upper Red Lake, or 39 miles north of Bemidji, moving southeast
at 45 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR FAR SOUTHWEST KOOCHICHING AND
NORTHWEST ITASCA COUNTIES.

HAZARD…Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include…
Alvwood, Squaw Lake and Oslund.

Instructions

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
Minnesota.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the
