Central Itasca County in north central Minnesota…
Northern Cass County in north central Minnesota…

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 1200 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
of Leech Lake, or 9 miles north of Walker, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Leech Lake around 1205 PM CDT.
Federal Dam around 1215 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Bena,
