Northwestern Johnson County in west central Missouri…

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 1203 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Belton,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Kansas City, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown,
Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Grain Valley, Harrisonville, Pleasant
Hill, Oak Grove, Greenwood, Peculiar, Lake Lotawana, Lake
Winnebago, Lone Jack, Lake Tapawingo, Kingsville, and Baldwin Park.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 17 and 35.
