* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Towner County in northeastern North Dakota…
South central Cavalier County in northeastern North Dakota…
Northern Ramsey County in northeastern North Dakota…

* Until 400 AM CDT.

* At 252 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Garske, or 15
miles north of Devils Lake, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Edmore, Starkweather, Brocket, Hampden, Webster, Lawton, and
Garske.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.

This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a
bathroom, closet or basement.
