Northwestern Chickasaw County in northeastern Iowa…
Southern Howard County in northeastern Iowa…

* Until 245 PM CDT.

* At 148 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near St. Ansgar to 22 miles west of Rockford, or along a line from
11 miles north of Osage to 36 miles west of Charles City, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Charles City, Osage, St. Ansgar, Rockford, Riceville, Elma,
Stacyville, Rudd, Floyd, Marble Rock, Alta Vista, Mitchell, North
Washington, Carpenter, Colwell, Orchard, Bassett, Howardville,
Idlewilde State Park and Colwell County Park.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
