Southwestern Washington County in north central Kansas…
Northern Clay County in north central Kansas…
* Until 630 PM CDT.
* At 539 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Clyde, moving
east at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. At 5:38 PM, 2 inch hail was
reported 7 miles east of Concordia.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include…
Clay Center, Clifton, Morganville, Green, and Vining.
Instructions

building.
