Northeastern Lynn County in northwestern Texas…
Northern Garza County in northwestern Texas…
Southern Crosby County in northwestern Texas…

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 937 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles north of
Southland, or 7 miles east of Slaton, moving east at 40 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SLATON AND CAPROCK.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
