The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Dawson County in south central Nebraska…

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 736 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles southwest
of Oconto, or 22 miles northwest of Lexington, moving south at 35
mph. Another strong thunderstorm with small hail is developing
over Gothenburg.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Dawson County, including the following locations… Farnam.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 243.
