Southwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico…
Southeastern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico…
Northwestern El Paso County in western Texas…

* Until 415 PM MDT.

* At 333 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Berino,
moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Chaparral, Anthony, Vado, Anthony Gap, Berino, Westway, Vinton,
Chamberino, Mesquite, La Union, Talavera, High Valley, Franklin
Mountains State Park, Dona Ana Range Complex, Dripping Springs,
Soledad Canyon, and Portions of Organ Mountains Desert Peaks
National Monument.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 150 and 164.
Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 1 and 3.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
