* At 1150 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles east of Hopkins to near Fillmore to near
Highland, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

St. Joseph, Savannah, Albany, Wathena, Elwood, Stanberry, Mound
City, Highland, Troy, Country Club Villa, Country Club, King City,
Oregon, Stewartsville, Union Star, Maitland, Amazonia, Skidmore,
Clarksdale, and Forest City.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 29 between mile markers 47 and 98.
Interstate 229 between mile markers 5 and 14.

building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
